Rear Brake Springs

To replace the springs in a stock Ducati rear brake, buy a brake rebuild kit for a 1972 Datsun B210. Canadian Tire part number 13-7906-4.

Final Drive

Use 428 chain and have one chain for each size of rear sprocket. Run a 17 tooth counter shaft sprocket and use 42, 43, 44, & 45 tooth rear sprockets. Check the clearance between the chain and the inside of the shifter case for clearance. You may have to grind away the boss on the casting behind the shifter shaft.

You can get aluminum rear sprockets to fit the stock Ducati hub from Sprocket Specialties at 916-533-0802. The sprockets are stamped with “188 Z”. The inner diameter of the rear sprocket is 110mm. The bolt hole circle is 125mm with six M7 mounting holes.
