2007 S4Rs won't start.. :(

bike has been sitting over the winter and start of summer. finally got time to go out for my first ride, but it won't start. battery was on tender so the battery seems strong (i.e. lights work, etc.). gauges prime when i turn her on, i hear the fuel pump prime (the whining sound.. >?). but when i push the starter it doesn't start. i hear 4-5 clicks but the engine doesn't even attempt to turn over. any thoughts would be appreciated!

I would check all the electrical connections. Battery posts,starter. Sometimes corrosion builds up on the connectors. It sounds like the solenoid (clicking noise) is working.

Try boosting it from another battery. If you use a car, don't start the car, leave the car's ignition off. IF it starts, take a good look at the battery.

How old is the bike's battery? It may have just given up the ghost, tender or not.
