Hello All,
The Best Western Sword was always motorcycle friendly,except for one year when the room Nazi took offense to Mr Richard Rudd cavorting around the corridors in his speedo with ladies on each arm (obviously because he partook of alcoholic stimulents at the noon stop and exceeded the speed limit during the ride).When I returned to consienceness (I was waylaid by a mysterious narcolepsy caused by consumption of alcoholic beverages at the noon stop and excessive speed during the ride)I spoke to the owner and as punishment she was sent to Richards room to spend the night in quiet reflection and prayer,she was never seen again,Mr. Dave Gooch disavows any knowledge of her present location.Although I hear he wont allow anyone in his barn.

I am thinking about the weekend of June 18th or possible the 25th.

I would prefer the first weekend, because the 25th is the weekend before Calabogie and I will get in trouble with the BOSS (the one at home not the one at work) if I am away 2 weekends n a row.

I just need to hear a confirmed date so I can work it out. I'm thinking of working that into a week vacation and need to confirm the date.

Hello Dave,
You may be interested to know .The Sword also owns the house on the south sidestreet ajacent to the motel complex midway down the parking lot.I believe it has three or four bedrooms and a foldout couch in the livingroom,full kitchen and bathroom.The nice thing about the house is the attached garage for bike security.
dont forget to enquire about this if it suits you.

We're in for this run too and we're interested in staying in 'the house' on Friday and Saturday night. We need a single room with a Queen bed....
How/when can we pay for this and how much $$ would this be for both nights total ? tax included? Who do we pay?

Hello Dave,
The house has a backyard and a sliding door onto it from the kitchen ( who says I can't remember things after a party) .You might want to check with the hotel as to the occupancy limit re. people sleeping in the house.They may have a limit.I have always rented a room.I just left a trail of breadcrumbs from the house back to my room (remember this stuff from nursery rhymes)
