I would love to host Ducati owners...

Postby ShelleyShoe » Thu Jan 13, 2011 5:47 pm

I am the manager of The Economy Shoe Shop on Argyle St in Halifax. The owner of this business is a Ducati owner & enthusiast. As a treat for him id love to host a group of enthusiasts at venue. We function as a bar, restaurant and cafe, an excellent meeting place for lunch, dinner or a coffee. Please contact me.
Thank you.

Hi Shelly,

I'm pretty sure most of the local enthusiasts would welcome the chance for an event at the Shoe Shop.

In the Maritimes, we in fact have our own official Ducati Owners Club now, known as the East Coast Ducati Club (ECDC). We used to be a Region of DOCC, but the local interest was strong enough for our own group, so off we went!

You can find us at: www.eastcoastducaticlub.com. We're coming off a very strong year in 2010 and looking for 2011 event ideas. I'm sure the group would LOVE to build a link with a spot like yours!

I'm currently President of the club, so please e-mail me directly at: rafuse.r@gmail.com and we'll get something going. Really cool to see your post, so I look forward to hear from you.

best regards,
Rory

BTW, for the DOCC folks:

Number one, please excuse my blatant plug for our East Coast club on your forum, and also know that any of you are welcome at our events - we would love to have some DOCC riders down our way for this, or anything else we get up to.

I'll post up here when we have a firmer schedule, but there is a plan for Cabot Trail late Jun, early July, if anyone might be interested.

Stay tuned!

Rory,

Something to keep in mind, the DOCC Calabogie Motorsports Park Track Rally is on July 2 and 3. If you are looking for us to come, you may want to schedule it away from that weekend.

Otherwise, keep us up to date on the plans, some of us are foolish enough to go that far for a weekend ride.

Dave, we'll keep that in mind for sure...!

On the same note, could I put up a note on our board ref the Calabogie Rally?

Some folks down here might like to try that one out.

You can post any of our events for your club, no need to ask.

Just a reminder though, they do have to be DOCC members to participate.
