Hello - London
New to the board but not Ducs.
Anyway thought I'd stop by and say hi!
Just picked up a '98 900SSFE. Previously owned a Monster, Blackbird, 1150GS and even a Harley.
Found this tucked away in my files, it's a ride report I printed off years ago, not sure if it's still floating around the net but I thought I'd share it if anyone is interested.
Had to scan the pages, sorry.
It describes perfectly our feelings.

Re: Hello - London
Hi Gowyn,
I saw your post and recognized your name and previous bikes. We have met a few times before, I work with your wife.
Looks like you grabbed the FE I was watching on kijiji all summer. Seems like a very good deal.
There is a bit of duc activity here in London. Inglis has been good at putting a couple of events together last year. We had a presence (7 ducs as I recall) at last years London Bike Show in a DOCC booth. Mike H and I have been talking about a monthly coffee night for years but never seem to get it off the ground. Maybe all we need is some interest from a few members or even one new member. If Londoners are interested maybe they will reply to this and we can get something started. I will even suggest a date to start things off - 7pm Tuesday September 14 @ Williams Coffee (Richmond and Central)
Regards,
Chris

Re: Hello - London
Sounds good to me
I'd be in
Yep it was the one on kijiji, turns out he was using the wrong email address
I was the first to call and was out there an hour later
Nice bike, just needs a good clean and fluid change

Any chance you could make it the Monday night (September 13th) at 7:00pm? Same place.
