My thanks to Rob & Brandon LaFave, Dave Gooch, Mark Lussier, Chris Shekulski and John Ross for displaying their bikes and/or manning the booth. Set up and tear down went better than expected and the weekend went very smoothly. Our clubs first time display here was well received and how could it not be. Think of the 10x30 display booth in glorious red... a 350, Pantah, 900SS, 916, 996, 998S, 749, and 1098. We got to meet and talk with a suprising number of present and future Ducati owners from around the area who were not familiar with our club or its activities. With this thought in mind I would say the weekend was a complete success. I am really looking forward to seeing all our new friends and faces at the track events and the informal rides everyone seems interested in doing. Speaking of rides, Chris rode his 996 out of the show and home! In hind sight probably better yesterday rather than today as we got a good snow fall that would have clogged up the carbon fibre fenders.
Cheers

A big thanks to Mike for getting the club in the show this year. I have thought about this for the past few years but glad to see we made a showing.

I should add the ride out of the show was fun. Nothing like letting those "buttless chap wearers" as Rob would say, hear what a real bike sounds like. The ride home was short but fun. The sooner I get rubber to the road each year the better!

About 20 years ago I went to my first bike show.Being a car guy i had been to so many car shows that I was so board with them .But a dude i rode with being new to riding and all thought we should go to the super show in Toronto.I didn't even know thay had bike shows.I haven't missed one since!!
Spring show at the air port again I'm there.C.V.M.G grait pine ridge ,PARIS!!I'm there!! (i had to miss Paris in 2008 as i was in B.C.)But as it was fathers day my son Brandon went and text me what was going on .
Last year on this forum there was a call out for help at the bike show at the C.N.E(sorry I don't recall it's name)and I volunteered to help.In that i was looking around at the rest of the displays when it came to me ,The D.O.C.C.was the only display with sport bikes at this show.Well it made me wonder and i was openly critical of why we were at this show.I think i said if we are doing the c.n.e show why not do london and posibly others.

And so it happened.Mike Heggarty posted about doing a display at the London motor cycle exspo.Me being a critic of not being their meant I will be now!I was in the second i read the post !

I no I'm rambling on.But I had a F%@KIN blast at this show last weekend !The RED CRUE stepped UP!!!
OH ya this means it up to the yellow bikes next year !!!!!

First up i gotta give give My boy Brandon Innis his dues!!Helped me all night Thursday's getting every thing loaded and stuff ready to go.1st one there friday to set up,then come back to help me and get me to the show. Then Left with me after getting kicked out buy security about 10:30ish.
Saterday thinking i'm first one in and who is thair cleaning every ones bikes Brandon again, stayed all day and back on sunday to help brake down and move out .THANX !!

Thanx also to Mark,Chris and Dave( for bringing red bikes lol)for helping out in the display. Also John Ross.

i had all kind's of questions. How much are thay ,how are thay to maintain .are all Ducati's red.
But the best question's i was asked ,What is that D.O.C.C logo sapposta be.I just explained that it was a D with a O in side it and a C in side that and another C in side that! As for the rest of the logo .Well I have no idea!!
Looking forwards to next year !!
