Calabogie Motels
Hi there,
Does anybody know of any motels located near Calabogie that may have some availability for this Friday/Saturday? The track website lists mainly cabins and resorts.
Thanks,
Mark

I just checked on Google and there ain't much. The track website probably has it right. You will have to expand your search to Renfrew and other points which may be farther away than you would like.
Camping facilities at the track aren't too bad unless your tent needs tent pegs. Most of the site is asphalt although there is an area which is tent peg friendly at the far end of the paddock. The washroom and shower facilities are getting better all the time.
Of course, you can always rough it and sleep in your car or truck. I did that for years before I got an enclosed cargo trailer. I call my trailer the "aluminum tent". Does that tell you where I sleep?

Try Jocko's, its clean, quiet and there's a kitchen in the room. Its about 10 minutes from the track with a nice view of the lake.
