My 2009, 696 Monster is not turning over. Lights on, lots of battery, as starter button is pushed it sounds like the starter disconnects. Code on screen: 0005 r.sw Any thoughts on solving problem?

99.9% it's low battery voltage. When was it last charged? The system needs a minimum threshold voltage or it will not even try to crank over.
