Clutch Lever for an 05 749

My bike fell off the lift in the garage today. Don't ask, my fault. Fortunately, the bodywork was off of the bike so the only damage was a broken clutch level.
A quick check of the parts manual shows that Ducati does not sell the lever separately. I have looked at E-Bay and a few other sites have have seen Pazzo, CRG and some carbon fiber look cheapie levers, but no stock levers.
Does anyone have any opinions on the relative merits of the aftermarket levers? Does anyone how has already changed their levers have a spare clutch lever to sell?
Thanks
Dave G

Is a Brembo lever. Maybe you can get one from them. I hear that those Carbon Fibre ones add 10hp to the bike. Or is that lose 10lb
Never sure

Dave,
I have levers from a 07 S4R......I think they will fit on your 749!

Goochman: If all else fails call Guy Martin, sole Brembo distributor in Canada. He might be of some assistance. Tell him Guy2 sent ya! My best, Guy Pike
Re: Clutch Lever for an 05 749

I checked with Inglis Cycle today and the levers are available from Ducati for "only" $140 each. For not a whole lot more, I can get a set of adjustable aftermarket levers.
At the moment, A couple of people have offered to help so I think I will delay the purchase of the aftermarket stuff until later.
As an aside, I am getting ready to order tires for the bike as well. Much to my surprise Inglis's price is cheaper than mail ordering the tires from the States! Of course, then you have to add the taxes..... These are Michelin Pilot Powers and 2CT's BTW, not some no name crap.

All prices are in Canadian $$

Dave,
Chris M has a lever used do you want me to send it to you?

Re: Clutch Lever for an 05 749

I broke my lever on the 996 and got a Ducati performance one for the same price as a stock replacement. Just throwing it out there so you can decide which way you'd like to go.

Jeez Dave, that don't sound good- crashing the bike in the garage... I'll buy it from ya, but it'll have to be cheeep!
Seriously, I'd ask some opinions on the best tires for the bike first. I'm not overly fond of Michelins, especially after sampling the ones on Gerry McD's 900ss at 'Bogie 2 years ago. (no, I didn't pitch it!)
