QUICK EXHAUST QUESTION!!!

Hey guys, I have an awesome oppurtunity to get a nice GP style exhaust made for a really low price on my 08 M695. I was wondering if it is mandatory to do an ECU upgrade to the bike after doing this, How will the bike run without it? and from experience does anyone know how loud the bike will be without cans? or should i incorperate them into the design somehow?

Generally speaking, any exhaust upgrade/ change requires a revised ECU. If this is a custom, chances are that a chip is not available for it, so a PC (power commander) will probably be required to remap the fuel delivery. The bike will run without the remapping, but not nearly as good as if you have it done. Just consider it part of the cost of the exhaust upgrade.
