where to buy a clutch slave cylinder/piston/seals
Hi,
I am new here and this is my first post. I have had my Ducati form about 2 months now. Being trying to ride every day rain/shine/below the freezing point. I ran into my first repair. My bike is a 2006 800ss. The clutch lever pressure is gone and from my posts on other forums and my own assessment I believe it's that the seals on the piston are worn out. Further research has shown me that after market part are much more reliable. I know where I can get OEM parts in Southern Ontario but I am having a hard time trying to find after market parts that ship to Canada. I was wondering if any one knows of any suppliers who ship to Canada or are in Ontario when I can pick up either the slave piston or the seals.
Thanks,
Bandito

So I went to MacTeky in Hamilton. They charged me $30 to install a new seal. This is the seal that they used(MUKRN-18X25X4.5):
It's costs $4.35.
I also found out that to american suppliers info58.com and ducatiomaha.com will both ship to Canada.
For about $100 you can the cylinder rebuilt including a stainless steel sleve.
Clutch is still stiff so I may upgrade the cylinder later on but for now I am very happy to be back riding.
