I need training and guidance, that can only come from a seasoned racer.
I am looking to race competitively within a year.

Come to the London bike show and talk to some of the DOCC members ! You are among friends who have been there and some of us have done that.
As Rick suggests, Don Gossen will help you out and I will too. We both have 848's and have some racing
background.
