Ducati gathering...No nudes!

Postby Ric » Thu Apr 22, 2010 1:52 am

The second annual gathering of GTA and area Ducatis (others are welcome of course) is tentatively being held at GP Bikes on Saturday June 12th.
If you were there last year, you understand the "no nudes" part.

For those that care to look, here's a link to last years event.

Sorry folks. Just too busy running the Shop right now to get this organized.

How about something simple/ Meet at the Timmy's in Bowmanville Sat the 12th, say 10am, and just go for 3-4 hour fairly casual, non-Herr Fantino ire invoking ride thru the backroads with a destination of Charlie (as in Indian Charlie) Mahoney's old shp by the river in Campbellford? There is also a nice little military museum there we can check out too.

Anyone???

Ken.

Thanks for the response Ken.I've been too busy myself to put much of anything into this. But it's only a gathering of riders after all.I have already put the word out that we will meet at the store at 10am on sat the 12th.I wouldn't want to change things and have any folks left in the dark.Is that ok?A ride out to Campbellford sounds good.Between you and Eric,a good route should be had. It'll be long ride for me back to Waterloo, but if the Hyper can do it,I can. Regards Ric
p.s. Cya at Mosport?

You're safe.

I have fuel stops every 80-100 k. Lot's of backraods in-between. Approx. 350k total from GP Bikes return. Should take approx. 5 hours. No real nasty roads, a few stretches of 401. Nice mix I think.

Well, the forecast looks crappy for the ride. But, if it's not too bad when everyone wakes up Sat morning,
e-mail me direct at: ken851@sympatico.ca by 8.00am if you still want to ride, rain or shine and I'll be there.

Failing that, we'll try again in a couple weeks.

The forecast right now (5:00pm friday) calls for 90% chance of t-storms.If this stays firm thru till tomorrow morn, the gathering is cancelled.
We will schedule another date in july.Stay tuned.

The forecast is crap, the clouds are moving in, (Fri 9pm) I think we'll post-pone it until the 26th. That will give everyone an excuse to get out of Toronto during the summit!

Hello All,
I'm east of Hastings,It's been pissing down here for about 3 hours.Just returned from flood control at the beaver dam at the bottom of our hill. Love to ride in the rain ,just can't see any reason to set out in it. .Postponement until a later date seems right to me.

Just a reminder that July 3rd is the Calabogie Rally. Many people will be away that weekend.
