New 696...now an insurance question

I'm so needy...we got the 696 dark from GP (thumbs up to those who suggested Gerry. He quickly put together a deal we were happy with!) and now we're looking for insurance.
I believe Jevco, Kingsway and $tate Farm don't surcharge this bike. There are the two Smith places in TO (one does Kingsway, the other Jevco) and Ridersplus. Can anyone suggest any other insurance company or broker that will insure the 696? I think Primmum can be good too.
Thanks again,
George

Answering my own question, we got a good price from Primmum. They also have the best price for my TZR250 plus a multi-bike discount so I"ll be heading there with that and my other bikes once they come up.
Their online tool is great for "what ifs" and their price on litre bikes are actually sub 1000 before any other discounts are applied. Maybe a 999 is in my future

I'm insured with Riders plus. Primmum wanted $200 more a year plus I had to get an alarm installed.
What are you paying for the 696?

ditto.................... Riders Plus here $540 a year for a 06 S2R

Hello All,
This is just a suggestion.Would it not benefit all members of the club ,if we were to list our age, general location (city/rural) as this affects rate, type of bike and how much we pay.We dont want to develop a theft list.but we should have some way that we can determine if we are being taken advantage of or not.
For example; I'm 61,live in the country,no tickets for 10 years(good talker/look old so they take pity on me)pay $2,615 for 07 Ural,00 RC 51,08 Hyper,full coverage on RC 51 only,with Primmum for 10 years.What do you all think?
Tnxs. Eric.

Gee, that seems high. City boy here with an '05 Multi 1000,'07 Scrambler and a '70 BSA with Primmum - one ticket - and just got the renewal for $1450.00. Specified perils on the Duc and Triumph and over the road only on the Beezer.
48 years old and 10 years with Primmum. ( no premium rates on the Duc ) I guess the RC 51 would certainly affect the rate.

I picked up an 09 696 yesterday. I'm 27, married, have an M2, no tickets, three years riding experience, and live in Suburban Ottawa. State Farm is charging me $970.

30 Years Old, 10 years riding experience no tickets.
Full coverage on my 09 696 through Primmum for $930/year. I didn't know about Riders Plus, I'll check them out for next year.

Wow Greg, that is a great price.
Primmum wanted 1200 a year for my 07 s2r800 and would only do full coverage if I had an alarm installed on it.
I'm 40 with one speeding ticket. Been riding for 15 years.
