Bancroft area is beautiful country. I'll get the maps out and see what routes, accomodations, etc etc are available.
My next response will be under subject "spring ride"

Hello All,
The Club used to do the 'Bancroft Road Ride" until the Club started doing track events at Calabogie (on the same weekend ).We used to stay at the Sword and I believe the Bancroft Motor Inn. Both are extreamly receptive to motorcycles.The Sword in right downtown and has a Italian restaurant across the road.
