Kincardine Airport to host unique display of
Aircraft, Motorcycles and Automobiles.
June 19 2008 - Kincardine Airport CNS7- The “ABC Gathering†as it is officially known, is a static display of Aircraft, Bikes and Cars held in conjunction with the 2008 Kincardine Old Boys Reunion. Located at the Kincardine Airport, this eclectic collection of vehicles will be free for public viewing on Sunday August 3rd 2008 from 12 Noon to 4pm.
The world famous North American Harvard will be on display. This aircraft was used by the Commonwealth training program to train thousands of pilots during World War 2. A restored 1940 Indian motorcycle as well as many other classic machines will be on display as well. Automobiles will include a 1930 Ford Model A as well as the 1955 Ford Sunliner convertible. Tentatively scheduled are military aircraft from Canadian Forces with a possible surprise flypast! The Cloudbusters Model Aircraft club will be flying demonstrations during the event as well.
The pilots, riders and drivers of these fine machines will be available to talk with the public and pass on their own unique stories of aviation, motorcycling and automotive ownership. This event is free to the public and all pilots, riders, drivers and media are encouraged to attend.
